Meet Dr. Shadeen K. Pinnock (MBBS)
Medical Director & Co-Founder, Medi Connect Urgent Care
Dr. Shadeen Pinnock is a compassionate and experienced Jamaican physician with a background in emergency medicine, orthopaedics, and community health. A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona (MBBS, 2018), she has spent the past several years delivering frontline care in both hospital and outpatient settings across Clarendon.
She is currently a resident in Orthopaedics at May Pen Hospital, where she has trained for nearly five years, developing skills in trauma, joint care, and musculoskeletal injury management. Dr. Pinnock is also FIFA-certified in Sports Medicine, which enhances her ability to care for athletes and active individuals through accessible, evidence-based treatment and recovery.
As the Medical Director of Medi Connect Urgent Care, Dr. Pinnock leads with a vision of modern, efficient, and patient-centered care. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every person who walks through the door feels respected, heard, and cared for — regardless of the urgency of their visit.

Meet Dr. Edmund M. Regis Jr (MD)
Medical Director & Co-Founder, Medi Connect Urgent Care
Dr. Edmund Regis Jr. is a dedicated physician with over a decade of experience in orthopaedics and sports medicine. A 2010 graduate of Spartan Health Science University, he began his medical journey in St. Lucia as a resident in General Surgery and Orthopaedics before relocating to Jamaica in 2015. He has since served across three regional health authorities and currently works in the Orthopaedic Department at May Pen Hospital.
In 2021, Dr. Regis launched ImagineMORE Sports Med, combining clinical care with his passion for athletic performance. He has served as team doctor for the U-17 Reggae Boyz and Football is Freedom, and is the immediate past president of the Central Chapter of the Jamaica Association of Sports Medicine (2022–2024). Recently, he became a certified sports nutrition coach (NASM), offering patients a more complete approach to injury prevention, recovery, and performance.
At Medi Connect Urgent Care, Dr. Regis brings a wealth of experience to the community, offering expert musculoskeletal care grounded in compassion, precision, and long-term wellness. His clinical style emphasizes movement-based recovery and lifestyle integration — making him a key part of our mission to revolutionize care access in Clarendon.
